Background-

After being inactive for two years due to the pandemic, and a move from Florida to the Midwest state of Illinois, the DHPI team  got its first opportunity to begin investigations again via a call for help. A home owner in the town of Chandlerville contacted DHPI to look into some strange and frightening activity they were experiencing in the home. This investigation turned out to be both intense and very different from prior investigations. The team was dealing with a potentially malicious entity that had been deposited in the house by an individual with an attachment and then decided to take up residence, as well as other spirits that were most likely already present when the owner bought the house. This was a complicated case from the start and the DHPI team had to first understand what all was exactly haunting the house. It proved to be an exciting investigation.

History of the House-

The house, a Victorian style two story, was built sometime around 1906 by Cook. He lived in the house with his wife     and two children                 .  Cook passed away in  and his wife in          .
